Primetime's Buster Brown
"Buster" Buster has retired and lived with his forever family in California doing wonderful therapy work with Bob. |
It has been awhile and I'm not sure what address to use, so I'll try both. Buster continues to thrive as a therapy dog. Besides visiting assisted living residences and the children's reading program he has a new calling. Three of the local high schools request therapy dogs for the students during mid-term and final exam weeks. During this time Buster spends 20 minutes at a time being fondled and talked to by mainly girls and a few boys, including two of our grandsons. He loves it.
I do want to relate to you a rather amazing coincidence. We were walking Buster at a nearby park when I noticed a lady across the street staring at Buster. The dog she was walking was identical to Buster. (Name is Manorlakes Gigi, called Maggie) Next to each other it was difficult to tell them apart. Conversation revealed that they had the same sire. His was Alladins Joey and hers was Primetimes Joey. The Pedigree Certificates showed the same Grandparents. Maggie is a little older than Buster and had just moved from Seattle. Amazing.
We plan to be in Mt Vernon WA in early April for a wedding which doesn't appear to be too far from Whispering Winds. If you are still open for visits we might be able to swing by at your convenience.

"Brickie" Hi Gail, I’ve been thinking about you since Thanksgiving, because one of the things I am most thankful for is Brickie. He is such a total sweetheart! I can’t imagine that there’s ever been a dog with a sweeter, gentler temperament than Brickie. He has brought so much happiness into my life! I kept his hair pretty short during our hot summer months, but now he’s getting nice and fluffy to help him keep warm – it’s definitely winter around here. We walk every day, and he loves going to the dogpark – gets wildly excited when I ask him if he wants to go, or when I turn onto the road that takes us there. He is quite a sociable guy, and loves to run & chase. And, of course, he is a GREAT cuddler. I enjoy his curiosity so much as well as his intelligence – he’s really got quite a large vocabulary. A compliment for you – when I had his teeth cleaned last summer, the vet said his teeth are in excellent condition. They also comment about how sweet he is – which I hear from the groomer and just about everywhere we go. I received your card today – thank you, the doodles are so cute. Primetimes Sir William of Whispering Winds "Willie" May 8, 2002 / September 8, 2016 Willie was our very first Australian Labradoodle. He was conceived in Australia and born in the US at Primetime Labradoodles (owned by my sister, Dorothy). We fell in love with Willie at first sight. Willie and our beloved Rutlands Lil Cocoa produced some of the finest offspring from which our magnificent breeding dogs get their excellent genetic makeup. Willie retired and lives with his new family in Colorado. We love and will always miss our sweet Willie boy! |
