What makes us The Premier Australian Labradoodle breeder on the West Coast?
We allow visitors as many breeders do not allow you to visit puppies or our adult dogs.
We spay/neuter and microchip our puppies so you don't have to. It is a costly procedure and requires a lot of attention after surgery. We do the work for you!
We have a business license with the State of Washington.
We allow you to choose your puppy as some breeders pick the puppy for you.
We crate train all of our puppies before they come home to you.
We start potty training at 3 weeks of age.
We will care for your puppy until you are ready to pick him/her up with no additional charge (within reason).
We SHIP and DELIVER your puppy to you.
May we visit your kennel?
Absolutely! We are actually not a kennel but raise our puppies and our dogs in our home. We welcome visitors by appointment once our puppies have reached the age of four weeks old. We will ask you to remove your shoes as you enter our home and wash your hands before playing with the puppies. We are also happy to schedule a video call if you are not local to Bellingham, WA.
How do you socialize your puppies?
Since our puppies are raised in our home, they're exposed to regular household noises such as the vacuum, tv/music and etc. We play with the puppies alongside our older dogs. We provide opportunities to explore, play with a myriad of toys and their littermates.
Do I have to place a deposit?
No, you may choose not to place a deposit however the puppy selection process is based on the order in which deposits are received. We ask that you do complete a Dog Adoption Application Form so we may know a little bit about you and include you in our litter announcement emails. Payment in full is required upon selection of your puppy.
I don't live near Bellingham Washington. How do I pick up my puppy? Will you deliver my puppy?
We are 15 minutes from Bellingham International Airport so you are welcome to fly into Bellingham and we will meet you at the airport to deliver your puppy to you. For a small additional fee, we will meet you in Seattle as well.
We will also fly in cabin with your puppy to your local airport to meet you and deliver your puppy to you as a courtesy (the client only pays for airfare)! My husband, Rick is retired from the Navy and enjoys a good adventure to deliver a puppy. We do offer an option to ship your puppy to you via an airline carrier. All shipping and airfare expenses are the responsibility of the new owner. We've delivered and shipped puppies to the East Coast, West Coast and all in between.
What if I want to wait to spay or neuter my new puppy?
You may choose to wait to spay or neuter your puppy until they are older, but we require you spay/neuter by the age of 6 months.
What type of food do your puppies eat?
Our puppies are nursed by their mama until 6 weeks of age. At four weeks old we blend puppy kibble and water to create a mush. Then at five weeks old the puppies graduate to puppy kibble soaked in water. Finally, at 6 weeks of age they begin eating dry kibble. Our puppies eat a healthy and nutritious diet of Nature's Domain, Chicken & Pea Formula.
What is included in the puppy purchase price?
Along with a lifetime of support, we offer a two-year genetic health guarantee. Prior to going home, all of our puppies are given a health check by our veterinarian, spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed and receive at least their first puppy vaccination. We crate train all of our puppies not only at night but also during the day, so they become accustomed to a crate being their "safe" space. We send you home with a sample of puppy kibble, Kong toy, Nylabone, collar and harness with leash.
Our family has a vacation planned during the time our puppy is ready to be picked up. Will you care for our puppy until we return home?
Yep! We will keep your puppy until you are ready to bring him/her home at no additional expense to you.
When is payment due? What forms of payment do you accept?
Payment is due once you've selected a puppy. We accept all major credit cards, checks, cashier's checks and cash. There is no additional charge to use a credit card as form of payment.
